Ecology BS/Comparative Biomedical Sciences MS

The Ecology B.S./Comparative Biomedical Studies M.S. degree will prepare students well for positions as technicians, laboratory managers, or field managers in ecological laboratories that study animal populations. It will also prepare them for a Ph.D. in this field or for veterinary school if they are interested in doing veterinary research or ecology research of animal populations. Students in this program will have the advantage of working with veterinarians and other faculty with animal expertise.

Admission to Program

Ecology majors may apply to the dual degree program with CBS in the fall of year 3 of their undergraduate program. Students who meet the following eligibility requirements should submit documentation thereof to Misha Boyd (mlboyd@uga.edu).

Applicants must have a minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0. Applicants should be on track to have completed at least 60 credit hours by the end of the semester for which they seek admission to the Dual Degree Pathway.
