Economics (A.B./M.A.) 5-Year Degree Plan

This document is offered as an aid only for planning a Terry College of Business degree plan. Many factors can affect the course scheduling sequence. Additional General Elective hours may be needed to meet the UGA 120-hour requirement (not including PEDB credit). Additional Upper-Division Elective hours may be needed to meet the UGA 39-hour requirement of upper-division coursework. Entrance Requirements to Major:
Completion of 58 hours earned, good academic standing (2.0 cumulative UGA GPA), and overall GPA of 2.6, completion of ECON 2105 or ECON 2105H or ECON 2105E & ECON 2106 or ECON 2106H or ECON 2106E with grade of "C" (2.0) or better.

Liberal Arts Course Requirements:
Foreign language (through third semester), one Literature, two Fine Arts/PHIL/RELI, two Social Sciences, one History, one Biological Science, one Physical Science, one multicultural.

Additional Requirements:
Thirty-nine (39) hours of Upper-Division Courses are required for degree completion.
