Mathematics BS(Applied Mathematics)/Business Analytics MS(non-thesis)

Career opportunities for M.S. Business Analytics (MSBA) graduates include: data analyst, senior data analyst, tech strategy consultant, real estate analyst, business analyst, business technology solutions analyst, and business intelligence analyst.

Admission to Program

Students may apply to the program once they have completed MATH 3200, STAT 4210, and 30 hours of undergraduate coursework. This will likely be in their sophomore year.

Students who meet the following criteria will be eligible to apply for the pathway:
- Completed 30 hours of coursework towards undergraduate degree (including AP/IB credits)
- Completed the following courses with a grade of “C” or higher*:
MATH 2250, MATH 2260, MATH 3200, STAT 2000 (or STAT 2100H), STAT 2360, STAT 4210

*If course requirement was satisfied by AP or IB testing, criteria is not applicable.

Admission to the pathway does not guarantee admission to the graduate program.

Curriculum

Graduate-level courses that may be used to satisfy undergraduate and graduate program requirements.

Students may take up to 6 hours of approved MSBA elective courses which will count toward undergraduate degree requirements.
