Admission to Program
Application will be made to the Philosophy Department in the student’s junior year. Application deadlines are October 10th and March 10th. Applications to the pathway will be evaluated by the Student Affairs Committee in the Philosophy Department. Students must submit at least one Double Dawgs pathway recommendation form completed by a full time faculty member. Additional requirements include 75 hours of coursework completed and 60 hours of coursework completed at UGA. We expect students admitted to the pathway will have a GPA of 3.5 or higher, barring exceptional circumstances.
Curriculum
Graduate-level courses that may be used to satisfy undergraduate and graduate program requirements.
Any 6000 or 8000-level PHIL courses (up to a maximum of 12 credits).

Admission to Graduate Program
Students who meet all of the following requirements will be eligible to apply for the Philosophy M.A. program:
• GPA: Minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.5 for all courses taken.
• TOEFL: Foreign applicants must report TOEFL scores that are within 5 years from the date of application.
