Landscape Architecture BLA/Landscape Architecture MLA

There are two primary benefits of the dual B.L.A./M.L.A. degree program. First is that it allows students interested in professional practice careers to focus their design interests through the M.L.A. thesis process. Often this allows students to gain employment with a specialized firm or to further develop their specialization with a professional office. Second, the M.L.A. degree is required to gain employment with a college or university to teach in an accredited Landscape Architecture Program. Earning both degrees will provide solid foundational knowledge, practical skills, and the design expertise needed to engage in pubic service and private practice.
