Agricultural and Applied Economics BSA/Agribusiness MAB(non-thesis)

M.A.B. students learn how to address issues in personnel management, investments, firm acquisitions, food and fiber international marketing, and commodity trading. This professional, non-thesis degree will allow you to explore a wide variety of courses and make industry contacts leading to exciting career opportunities. M.A.B. graduates from UGA are hired by leading U.S. and international firms and organizations such as Monsanto, Kubota Tractor, Sun Trust Bank, U.S. Department of Agriculture, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, University of Georgia, MetLife, and more.

Admission to Program

Students will be able to apply for admission after completion of 60-90 hours in the B.S.A.-A.A.E. program.

Students must have completed AAEC 2580, AAEC 3580, and ACCT 2101 and received a grade of B or better in each class.

Curriculum

Graduate-level courses that may be used to satisfy undergraduate and graduate program requirements.

Major Electives will be satisfied with AAEC 6630 (3 hrs) and AAEC 6730 (3 hrs).
General Electives will be satisfied with AAEC 6980 (3 hrs) and AAEC 6640 (3 hrs).

Students must have a taken the GRE and received a combined score of 290 or better.
