Exercise and Sport Science BS/Nutritional Sciences MS(Community Nutrition)(non-thesis)

Students completing the Double Dawgs program will be well prepared for careers related to exercise science with a strong understanding of human nutrition.

Admission to Program

Student may apply to the pathway when they have completed the following:
-Spoken with academic advisor and pathway contact
-Completed CHEM 1211/L and CHEM 1212/L with a grade of C or better
-Completed NUTR 2100 with a grade of B or better
Students must have a UGA and overall GPA of 3.0 or better and no grades below a C in undergraduate science courses

Curriculum

Graduate-level courses that may be used to satisfy undergraduate and graduate program requirements.

NUTR 6680E, NUTR 6050, NUTR 6050E, NUTR 6510, NUTR 6510E, NUTR 6700E, NUTR 6220, NUTR 6220E, other courses with department approval.

Admission to Graduate Program

Students must have a semester of Biology, Chemistry and Foundations of Nutrition with grades of C or better; overall GPA of 3.0 or better.
Students must successfully complete their undergraduate program and apply and be accepted into the MS Nutritional Sciences, Community Nutrition, non-thesis program.
