Food Science BSA(Science, Technology, and Engineering)/Food Science MS

Graduates from the Double Dawgs program will have career opportunities in the food industry (research and/or managerial positions in the food industry), regulatory agencies, such as USDA and US-FDA, and/or will be well-prepared to enter Ph.D. programs at UGA or elsewhere.

Admission to Program

Admission to the joint BSA/MS pathway will generally occur at the end of the student's junior year. Applications must be completed by January 31 for fall admission or August 31 for spring admission.
Preference for admission to the joint pathway will be given to students who have:
1. Earned a GPA on all college coursework (overall GPA) of 3.5 or better
2. A faculty member who agrees to serve as the Major Professor
