Nutritional Sciences BSFCS/Nutritional Sciences MS(non-thesis)

The Nutritional Sciences Program prepares students for careers in the health sciences, including medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, and physical therapy. The completion of a master's degree may improve a student's likelihood to be accepted into the professional program of their choice.

Admission to Program

Students will apply to the pathway via an online application along with an unofficial transcript and a signed acknowledgment that they are aware of the criteria for them to be accepted to the graduate program. Acceptance into the pathway is not a guarantee of acceptance into the graduate program.

Students must have completed CHEM 1211-1211L, CHEM 1212-1212L with grades of C or better, taken NUTR 2100, and have a 3.5 GPA for admittance to the pathway.

Curriculum

Graduate-level courses that may be used to satisfy undergraduate and graduate program requirements.

Any NUTR dual-level courses taken at the graduate level appropriate to the student's major may be used.

Admission to Graduate Program

At the start of their senior year, these students will apply to the Graduate program. At this time, we are asking them to take the GRE and meet the same requirements as other graduate program applicants (GRE= 300 150 V, 150Q, 3.5 A, 3.0 Min. GPA, and other requirements as specified on our website).
