Hospitality and Food Industry Management BSA/Agribusiness MAB(non-thesis)

Hospitality and Food Industry Management BSA/Agribusiness MAB Double Dawgs students have a wide range of career opportunities upon graduation. The MAB portion of the program provides them with general business management skills -- marketing, accounting, management, finance -- that are applicable to any business setting. The HFIM portion of the program provides them with specific training for management and supervisory roles in the hospitality and food industry. Graduates are particularly well suited for careers in throughout the food and beverage supply chain (from the point of production to the point of consumption and everything in between), as well as leadership roles in large and small hotel/resident organizations and resorts, and planning, marketing and producing private and public events.

Admission to Program

Students must apply to this Double Dawgs program by the mid-point of the first semester of the third year of their undergraduate degree.

Students must have an minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0, and successfully completed AAEC 3020, AAEC 3580, and HFIM 3160 with a C (2.0) or higher prior to admission.

Students must have sufficient room in their schedule to complete AAEC 6570, AAEC 6630E, AAEC 6640, and AAEC 6980 as part of their undergraduate degree.

Admission to Graduate Program

Students must have successfully completed all MAB degree prerequisites with a C (2.0) or higher.

GMAT or GRE scores must also be submitted for admission consideration.
