Exercise and Sport Science BSEd/Nutritional Sciences MS (Nutrition for Sport and Exercise)(non-thesis)

Students completing the Double Dawgs program will be well prepared for careers related to exercise science with a strong understanding of sport nutrition.

Admission to Program

Students can begin applying to the Double Dawgs program as early as the second year. Students should have a grade of C (2.0) or higher in CHEM 1211, CHEM 1211L and CHEM 1212, CHEM 1212L and an overall GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Admission to Graduate Program

Admission requirements include submission of an application, references, a 3.0 or higher GPA, and GRE scores. Students should have two semesters of chemistry, including one semester of organic chemistry. Students should also have one semester of physiology and one semester of biochemistry on their undergraduate transcript with preferred grades of B (3.0) or higher.
