Asian Languages and Literature AB (Japanese)/TESOL and World Language Education MAT (TESOL)(non-thesis)

This program is ideal for a student looking to teach world languages in Georgia P-12 public schools. We offer a range of courses and electives to accommodate your needs and interests. This program fulfills requirements for the master's degree and T-5 certification. You will also earn the ESOL endorsement for grades K-12 through the MAT program in World Language Education.

Admission to Program

A minimum of 3.2 GPA is required and a grade of B or higher is required in SPED 2000. This program allows students to begin pathway courses in the fall semester of their final year of undergraduate coursework.

Students must select Japanese language courses (JPNS) in Asian Languages and Literature AB to complete this program of study with the Area of Emphasis in Japanese.

Admission to Graduate Program

Applicants are required to submit either the GRE or the Miller Analogies Test (MAT) and TOEFl/IELTS (international applicants only). While completing your graduate school application, please include the following:
