Statistics BS/Business Analytics MS(non-thesis)

The B.S. in Statistics and M.S. in Business Analytics program provides students with a unique combination of skills and insights that are in high demand in this data-centric economy.

Admission to Program

Students may apply to the program once they have completed STAT 4210 and 30 hours of undergraduate coursework. This will likely be in their sophomore year.

Students who meet the following criteria will be eligible to apply for the pathway:

- Completed 30 hours of coursework towards undergraduate degree (including AP/IB credits)

- Completed the following courses* with a grade of B or higher:
STAT 2000 (or STAT 2100H), MATH 2250, MATH 2260, STAT 4210

*If course requirement was satisfied by AP or IB testing, criteria is not applicable

Admission to the pathway does not guarantee admission to the graduate program.

Curriculum

Graduate-level courses that may be used to satisfy undergraduate and graduate program requirements.

Courses with an asterisk (STAT 6250 and MIST 7600) are graduate courses used to satisfy both undergraduate Statistics degree program requirements and graduate MSBA degree program requirements.

Statistics majors who complete STAT 6280 may request substitution of ECON 6760 with a MSBA elective.
