Admission to Program
In order to take Financial Planning graduate courses prior to acceptance to the graduate program, students who meet the following requirements should submit documentation of eligibility to the FHCE Graduate Coordinator:
- Current standing as an admitted undergraduate Finance B.B.A. major.
- A cumulative undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0, including any graduate courses used to satisfy undergraduate requirements.
- On track to have completed at least 60 total credits by the end of the semester for which they seek admission to the Double Dawgs pathway.
Curriculum
Graduate-level courses that may be used to satisfy undergraduate and graduate program requirements.
In the Terry College of Business, undergraduate students meet their General Elective requirements using a defined combination of business and non-business prefix courses. Students in this Double Dawg program may use up to four (3-credit) 6000 - 8000-level FHCE prefix courses to satisfy General Elective requirements where non-business prefix courses can be used. These courses cannot be used in place of business prefix courses needed to satisfy General Electives. Please see your undergraduate advisor for additional information.

Additional requirements that are unique to this Double Dawgs program:
All of the above courses are required for the graduate degree. Depending on which courses the student takes while an undergraduate student (up to 12 hours), they will then take the remaining courses to complete the graduate degree.
Admission to Graduate Program
Students should apply to the Graduate School during their final undergraduate semester. Students in this program may matriculate to the graduate program in the fall or spring semesters. The application deadlines for fall and spring are July 1st and November 15th, respectively.
Admission to this graduate program also requires two letters of recommendation and a written statement of purpose.
