The joint Landscape Architecture B.L.A./M.H.P Preservation Double Dawgs degree pathway prepares students to be leaders in the fields of historic preservation, cultural landscape, and community planning, as well as providing a pathway into Ph.D. programs in social science and humanities fields. The Master of Historic Preservation is the terminal degree in the field of historic preservation, and would allow graduates access to employment options at local, state, and federal government levels, would prepare them to work in the non-profit cultural heritage sector, as well as to find employment in the construction, cultural heritage tourism, and design industries.
