Students graduating with the undergraduate degree in Dietetics and the master's degree will be eligible to complete an ACEND-accredited supervised practice program and subsequently take the examination to be certified as an RDN. Registered dietitian nutritionists work in a variety of settings, including healthcare, business and industry, community/public health, education, research, government agencies, and private practice. Students graduating with the master's thesis option have the potential to continue their education and earn a doctoral degree. Those holding a Ph.D. in Nutrition will find additional employment opportunities in research, teaching, and advanced professional careers.
