This Double Dawgs program will provide students with a path toward a position in the energy industry (e.g., utilities, renewable energy, or traditional energy firms) or in government or research positions. MIP graduates enter careers in a variety of U.S. government agencies such as the Departments of State, Commerce, and/or Defense as well as the intelligence community. The program also has a strong history of placing graduates in the Department of Energy and across the National Nuclear Security Administration’s lab system (e.g., Savannah River, Oak Ridge, Pacific Northwest, Argonne, Sandia, Lawrence Livermore). Other graduates elect to enter private industry with consulting firms (e.g. Deloitte and KPMG), government contractors, think tanks, and nonprofits.
